This is Roger Foote's standalone 1U stereo germanium diode soft clipper, the "Mix" version with potentiometer controls.
Stereo ganged controls include:
HPF, Drive level, Knee (4 settings from soft tape-like bending to hard distortion), LPF and Wet/Dry blend.
Individual controls for L and R outputs let you fine-tune to match stereo signals, and are also good fun inside a Mid-Side matrix.
Includes unit and power supply, but the original box is gone.
