There’s a lot of great guides for speaker/sub placement and listening positioning (Krk has a good one too) but in the end you have to experiment. REW is great for that, in my last room I got rid of a huge low end null simply by turning my sub 90 degrees to point horizontally. Those SW plots are helpful but again, REW is great because you can the waterfall plot which is much more revealing. If you guys haven’t used it I highly recommend it. 100%

Does it walk you through?

There’s a little bit of a learning curve to REW, but there’s a few good YouTube videos that walk you through what you need to know (the program gets deep). One of things you have to do is a loop back test, so REW can create a calibration file of your ad/da, and compensate for that.
Once you’ve done all the prep and wrapped your head around it it’s easy. And you can take, and save, multiple measurements very easily.
It’s seriously worth it though. Use REW to get speaker/sub/furniture/acoustic treatment right...THEN use sonarworks and I bet it takes you up another level.

Yup, REW is the way to go, it shows the ugly truth, not hidden under a thick layer of smoothing and sugar. It also shows a lot more data that's more useful than the basic eq graph. Like waterfall graphs, and the timing of the reflections, so you can see how well your room has the reflection free zone -idea implemented, or not. Insert Jack Nicholson.gif: "you can't handle the truth!"
