What ever, one was given the impression it would be a somewhat open opportunity, but apparently some had an ordering advantage.

I have an Audioscape GSSL - sounds great. However forgive me for poking at his marketing hashtags - but I must say for all the praise he gets - you’d think maybe we could talk about the ethics of plastering the “Teletronix” logo across his 2A.

At 000, everybody knows it’s an Audioscape clone, he doesn’t suggest anywhere it’s an original?

I think that was a few units in the early days. It’s an Audioscape logo now and has been for a while.

Also, hashtags make me feel old and out of touch. I don’t understand them. I’ve tried using them before, but mostly in humorous ways. I don’t read them. It feels like clutter to me. And I’m betting in the not so distant future, they will be dated and out of style. Like parachute pants or sweater vests.

This whole electronic messaging thing is so dated too . . . and can;'t wait for this computer fad to pass. But more seriously, amongst 18-30 year olds, hashtags are critical for generating and maintaining interests. A huge thing on instagram , now owned by facebook . . . where the difference between 10 and 500 checkmarks (for me personally anyhow) is #studio #studiolife #producer #producerlife #recordingstudio #audioengineer #pop #popmusic They generate business. clients follow the hashtags

I'm actually genuinely interested in how it works. Can I follow a hashtag? Would I see posts from everyone on Instagram who uses the hashtag #studio? Seems like that would fill my feed rather quickly of every Joe and his brother who makes a post with #studio.

If you feel like browsing different studios, you search the tags that Wardo mentioned and poof, millions of cool studio shots.

I had my previous website set to import any photos from insta with the tag #themixinghouse

They only work on Instagram and other social media. I think he was just making fun of AS using them. I used to use them on Instagram...until I realized I was wasting my time because IG never brought me a single customer.

Wardo? What are you my mom, sister or ex-wife? LOL I wish I was your ex wife collecting those alimony payments. Alimony? Pffft... never paid a dime of it. and kcatthedog, HALF? Not a chance. Pre-nups bud. Don't marry anyone who sees it as a financial transaction. If she's willing to sign a bilateral agreement that precludes what you bring into a marriage and recognizes the 'tools of the trade' common la provision, then she's in it because she actually loves you. If it goes south... well, a little kindness goes a long way, on both sides. And now, back to Chris Yetter and Audioscape and my future wife, I mean compressor!

Probably in under a minute like last time. But Chris said anyone can order at the introductory price for a week before it goes up.

Payment in full. He will have units made. I'm pretty sure he shipped the last five out the next day. The product page has a price under each product as well as a price near the top of each product's page. www.audio-scape.com/productswww.audio-scape.com/products/dcomp-limiter

When I ordered an out of stock Opto from him last year, he took the order and I paid when he sent me an invoice. So in that instance there was no down-payment. I'm not sure if that's his regular practice though. He may opt to do it differently on this one since he'll be building a lot more than a single Opto.

this has definitely caught my eye - but I’m very curious to hear more about it once people actually get their hands on them. I’m also curious to see how Chris keeps up with demand.
