That wasnt a typo.. completely my marketing brilliance. I wont brag about much, except my incredibly cheesy sense of reality. Let the cheese begin! Hard cheese 19” chassis? Now that’s a cheesy compressor! Hard cheese Feta - 1176 / Cream Cheese - LA-2A The mind of a seriously deranged gear junkie!

I don't understam half the clever cheese in this thread. BUT I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY RECEIPT!! +1 I just have the Paypal receipt "You paid Stam Audio $400.00 on 4/14 2018." It doesn't state what the deposit is for. Let alone the early discounted price. No Receipt from Stam

The "receipt" email on the SA76 ADG (it's not even a receipt, really; it's just a note to say they've confirmed the order) is the first of its kind in my experience. I have two other orders in with them right now, but all I have to show for them is the PayPal receipt like you mentioned above, winetree

So how do you get some sort of confirmation that the $200 discount will be applied? The website doesn't calculate it automatically and apparently neither does the PayPal page. You reserve the unit for $200. When the unit is getting ready, you will receive an invoice with the final balance (- the $200 you already paid).

It would still be nice to get that acknowledgment email stating: "Thank you, we have received your 2x$200 downpayment on your two Stam 1073EQ units and assure you that you are in the first 200 orders and will pay a total of $499 per unit once completed and ready to ship to you. Your balance of $598 plus shipping charges will be due just prior to shipping. Thank you for your business!" That would go a long way to building confidence in the business. We all already love the products!

We all already love the products! I totally and completely agree. + 1 more. I have to admit that I have yet to purchase a Stam product for similar reasons. Lack of communication in general seems to be a theme. Maybe it's all for good reason. E.g. He's so slammed with orders that he can't keep up on a number of levels. But tie that to a "first 100 orders" announcement with little to no follow-through, and there are just too many red flags for me to go in. I've never run a business, but if I was even considering a promotional deal, communicating 'firstness' (or non-firstness) would be one of the primary considerations I would plan for up-front. And just so people don't get the wrong idea. I shot out the Stam 2A against my Warm Audio 2A and the Stam won (well, they both had things going for them, but the pros for the Stam slightly out-numbered those for the Warm). I do not question the quality and reputation of the product.

Everybody is getting an acknowledgment email on their orders, we are sending them everyday Again... it takes time. It's thousands at this point, not hundreds and I don't have any time so I hired someone to do customer service for us, he has been sending emails everyday.

But what about emails which I've sent which have never been answered? I had questions about my SA76ADG order and why I was in the second group even though I ordered it almost immediately after it was announced? I also had a question about shipping. I ordered two of the 73eqs and was hoping to have them shipped with the SA76ADG at the same time to save on shipping.

My average response time is 12 days right now, please re-send your email It is not possible that you are on the second group if you ordered immediately. The first 100 went very fast, if there is a mistake include it on your email and I will review it J

I would probably move to the US if I was selling thousands of units. You could probably get a great business deal bringing more business here, not sure, but my thinking is that most of your customers are probably US based. You would definitely move more product.

Maybe the guy is completely swamped. Maybe you could re-send the email. Maybe he likes where he was born and doesn’t want to move. Cut the guy some slack...he’s not out to cheat people.

I didn't mean actually him move, but possibly find a way to get a US operation up and running. Sorry, in a hurry, quick post. US operation means higher cost and probably not enough more business for any benefits of economy of scales. A US rep would mean a straight percentage cost increase for North America. Part of what Josh is trying to do is deliver a great product at a great price and for the most part do it by himself! I get that customer service isn’t ideal, him and I have talked about it, but you have to understand this he has done everything he can to hold down the cost and deliver a great product, adding a second employee is one of the biggest expenses of any new business, and finding and keeping someone who delivers great customer service is even more expensive. Everybody here knows STAM is about great product, great price. The communication problems are well documented. When it comes to a bargain, well something has to give, with Audio-Scape selection, Warm some parts quality, STAM customer communication, KT Well its Behringer so all the above. It’s pick your poison, but Josh is trying give him time, otherwise vote with your wallet.
