Crazy. I have new plug ins which pass the AU validation but they do not show up in Logic X.
Did try to erase Plist = NO. Did try to switch on and off the core audio button = NO. Hardware reset = NO P RAM RESET = NO
Any hint is welcome!
It is crazy becasue the validation passes without any problems or errors.
Cheers Holmes

I did. The issue is now more crazy.
I now have seen they only show up on stereo tracks not on mono tracks... But they are not stereo only.
Support has no clue either because they pass the validation.

I had even used the plugin several times, but that day I just forgot and was lost as to why I couldn't pull it up on a mono channel. Live and learn.

Well, it wasn't Logic's fault here was it?

It's actually logical that some plugins don't work on a mono track. One possibly not-so-obvious reason is when you slap a stereo effect plug on a mono track chain and expect a stereo effect. It doesn't work with real gear, so why should it work with the virtual equivalents. The same thing has happened to me more than once, and as frustrating as it was to figure out why the first time - now I'm glad it does it because I instantly realize that what I was trying to do wasn't 'logical' in the first place.

Even if it would be Logics fault ....
I jet never have seen any daw without flaws from time to time.
I will never forget my first visit in a pro studio. The owner wanted to show me his PTHD system wroking with Logic.
In the same moment the whole system went nuts.
I asked him if its maybe wiser to use it with PT. Wrong question...

LOL, this has happened to me more than once. I'll sit there completely confused as to why I can't find a plug-in I KNOW was installed and working just the other day. WHERE IS IT?!?! Oops, that channel/aux is sitting in mono, for whatever reason, and it's a stereo plug-in.
