I’ve got a P4DMS (with Carnhills). Love that thing. Currently running an IGS Tubecore into it. Yeah the P4 dms is no joke. Love the width. (Big thanks to Doug emmr) ...That & the Samar mf65 are two big favorites here. Yet again thanks to emmr! They both still hold up well. I get a weird volume spike when using the P4 and the IGS together. Wonder if it’s an impedance thing?

There are no 'spikes' I can think of related to impedance, impedance is fixed.

When I chain these two pieces together, I don’t get unity volume from the Foote. The signal is much louder when the Foote is engaged than when it is bypassed, even with no make-up gain.

Hmmmm, what's after the P4? Bypassed the IGS is seeing whatever is after the P4 as its load, engaged it's seeing the P4 as its load. Bypass versus not looks the same with other sources?

I will troubleshoot some more. I think the Hendyamps Michelangelo is after the IGS.
